Services that may receive financial assistance from Heroes With Handicaps may include the following for Military Special Needs Children:
| 1. | Medically documented therapies for autism (ie, ABA, DIR, IBI,etc.) |
| 2. | Therapies not covered by insurance, Tricare, local school districts, or state/federal monies. |
Services will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Millions of dollars are being spent on Autism Research, but very few dollars on the treatment and education of children with Autism. Until a cure for Autism is found, the most effective way to help these children is with proper treatment and services.
